wow SRL getting 11 million in 80s money is damn good

Hearns getting 4 million for virgill hill is more than I thought, thats a lot for the time too, I hope he isnt broke now but he probably is.

Ruiz getting multiple million dollar fights and 11 million for RJJ is ****ed

Morales and Barrera were underpaid in their prime, its not like they were making chump change but they were underpaid relative to both their skill and their crowd pleasing style. I mean they were like the highly skilled version of gatti/ward

Sadly he is. The IRS just foreclosed on his home earlier this year.

Hearns is so desperate he went on to call out Antonio Tarver and he didnt even look like he was kidding.

The Hearns/Duran Euro tour they had earlier was a ploy to scrap up some $ for poor Tommy.

    :-(

Jones didn't make 25 mil for Ruiz it only sold 600k PPV's. And Ruiz didn't get paid 11 mil either. Some of your numbers are way off.........

Boxing is a well paid sport.

I read that Lesnar vs Mir, Lesnar got something like 500k and Mir 50k. The event I believe did around 1mil buys. Compare that to boxing, lol, Dana and who ever owns the UFC is raking in some serious %.

I dont think its sad, its sad iof you have to work long hours every day for a small monthly payment. Ifyou get millions and just blow it all away, its not sad but extremely stupid.

I think the Spinks vs Judah 1 fight is wrong. And a few others actually.

What are those numbers based on?

I find it hard to believe Oscar made 11 million against Campas when he made only 6 million against Fernando Vargas (who himself made I think 4 mill that fight)
