Castillo definitely outboxed Floyd that night. When the scores were being announced, you could see the look in Floyds eyes, like he knew they were going to give a UD to Castillo.

I think this is why Floyd had the rematch, because he wanted to beat Castillo rather than be awarded a gift against him.

If Castillo could beat Floyd then could you imagine what Julio Cesar Chavez would have done to him? Not to mention that Chavez threw bombs... didn't look it but then seen Taylors face?

And let's just put this straight, I know we are all claiming Mayweather would beat most on that list but sometimes it's time to wake up and smell the coffee! Who has Mayweather beaten worth mentioning? Judah? Baldomir? Hatton? Who are these guys? Where will they go down on the all time greats list?

Mayweathers proven nothing yet, nothing until he starts beating fighters who are at the top of the p4p rankings...

I would pick the best ATGs that fought at welterweight to beat both of them... Specially the guy in my avatar.

oooohhh Tony. Put down the pipe my friend. You are aware your not supposed to drink the bong water right?! :rasta

You're quite young and unaware of the genius of the 70's and 80's and quite possibly even the 90's of boxing.

Does Mike Tyson ring a bell?
    What about James Toney?
    Possibly Sweet Pea?
SRL and SRR are both better than Floyd.
    Carmen Basilio?
    Willie Pep?
    Just to name a few...

But of course none of these guys exist in your mind because they weren't around when Floyd put on a pair of gloves...

I don't know about that. Floyd haters will be rejoicing. There are a LOT more of them on the net than actual Floyd fans. ESB will be more active, if anything.

I'm a huge Floyd fan. But after the fight, I'm still going to show up here to give either guy the credit they deserve for fighting each other. Both will be one of the other's toughest fights ever. I really do favor Shane this time.

    carmen basilio LMAO
    WILLIE PEP LMAOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:patsch
Floyd is the most talented boxer i have ever seen and i have seen a lot. ur just naming names bc u have heard of them. SRR would beat floyd's ass but he is not a better boxer but bc he is bigger, stronger, taller, longer, fast, smart and got floyd outgunned in the physical dept.

This is true :-( It would've been called a technical chess match...it'd be a fight of two fighters waiting to see who throw's first. People would get out of their seats for a jab...or at least for the fighter's to come within 2 feet of each other.

Not sure a Prime DLH would've done any different. It might've been a bit more action packed in a sense that Oscar might've actually HURT Mayweather, but I doubt the conclusion would be any different.

floyd having a hard time against castillo and washed up Oscar. I say floyd only beat Taylor in that list, he looses to all - has a slight chance against Oscar but i think young Oscar's pressure will win by a very thin / close UD. Manny looses to all (including taylor) but has a chance against JCC (style make fights).

Too many to name, really. I don't think Floyd's anywhere close to elite when compared with the best to have fought in the Welter and Light Middleweight divisions. I'd favor quite a few lesser regarded champions and contenders over him at those weights, as he's never really impressed me up there. At 140 and below both fighters stand much better chances of rating highly H2H, with 130 likely being both of their best weights.
