If past prime GGG can destroy Vanes. A fighter who gives the top young JMW fighters hell than it's time to STFU about GGG and Lara. Or any 154 pounder for that matter.

GGG was said to have been ducking Lara years back. Ridiculous. A 32 year old GGG beats Lara down worse than he did Vanes. Lara couldn't even stand up to the crude pressure of Hurd. Imagine educated pressure?

No ordinary 154 pounder was going to move up and beat GGG. It would take a special talent like Hearns for them to even stand a chance.

GGG is too big, too strong, too skilled for those little skinny ****ers down at JMW.

GGG is at his best right now just like Wladimir Klitschko was at the same age. Prime isn't a number.

Golovkin is clearly past his prime but still competitive. His prime was from 2011 to 2014/15.

I didn't hear anyone say Bhop was past his prime at GGG's age, well they may have but he certainly didn't seem to take notice.

Did Bellew look past prime to you last night at 35? Bomber has never been better.
GGG only just turned 36. No agenda . Truth is truth. Prime is not a number.. Look what just happened to Vader.
I told you that GGG would go back to looking like an unbeatable beast once his comp dropped back down to the level it was before he fought Jacob and Canelo.

I don't think he is past his prime. You can't knock them all out. Jacobs and Alvarez fought to survive and both clearly lost to GGG.

Agree they fought careful but I still think Golovkin is declining. His speed, precision and footwork isn't the same as 4 years ago.

Yeah they have the same style boxers do, all of them, and they age the same time and rate too. Ali should've hung around and done what Hopkins done and fight until his 50. PRESSURE FIGHTERS DONT LAST AS LONG AS PURE BOXERS NUMPTY

Golovkin did NOT pressure box Lemiuex , Jacobs and Canelo. He boxed them safely behind a stiff jab.

Pressure fighters tend to fade out earlier due to being in wars and taking too much punishment. That isn't the case with GGG who fought a relativity easy career against mostly cheese puffs.

Golovkin is the most versatile fighter style wise since probably Marco Antonio Barrera. He can play the puncher, boxer, pressure role. He's well versed in any style. But he's primarily a pressure fighter. He can take other measures against huge punchers like Lemiuex and Jacobs. He has the skillset to do so.

He din't/couldn't/wouldn't pile the pressure on Canelo like he should have and allowed him to have too much space inside the wheelhouse.

lmao @ GGG past his prime bs

GGG IS the best HW out there, he won all of his fights and was robbed vs Clenelo.

HE is in his prime, prob will dominate the MW another couple of years

OP is a Pacquiaotard, so will give him a pass for this type of nonsense. Vanes was off the couch. Why wasn’t Golovkin that aggressive against DJ or Canelo. Because obviously he had more to fear.

This fight proves Canelo’s counters had Golovkin tentative. Btw, his chin is cracking. Just a heads up.

Christ. Can you ever stay on topic? The thread has to do with how easily prime G would have destroyed Lara. Or any 154 pounder for that matter.

I think you have the reading comprehension skills to stay on topic. You just prefer to derail.
