from the list of recently active and post prime fighters who do you think would make it to the elite list of boxing hall of famers..include only boxers who are borderline cases. there are my list of borderline hall of famers

    fernando vargas
    joel casamayor
    jose luis castillo
    diego corales
    pauli ayala
    popo frietas
    vernon forrest
    cory spinks
    darius michalczewski
    virgil hill
    james toney
    rosendo alvarez
    tim austin
    sven ottke
    arturo gatti
    ricardo mayorya
    manuel medina

i would think that corales, castillo, toney, gatti, hill and vargas would make it to the HOF...

    what do you think?

Ottke, Spinks, JLC (50/50 for me), Austin, Ayala, Freitas, Forrest, and Vargas need to be removed.

The rest are HOF worthy, IMO.

Gatti might get a "Lifetime Achievement" award like Scrap Iron Johnson did.

Toney's roiding hurts his credibility, definitely.

Ottke will be in the Hall Of Fame:

-Most title defenses (21) in super middleweight history along with Joe Calzaghe

-Tied for most title defenses all-time

-One of few champions to retire undefeated

    -Amateur Record: 256-47-5

    -Three time Olympian

-Ottke has amateur wins over Antonio Tarver, Chris Byrd, Michael Moorer, Zsolt Erdei and Juan Carlos Gomez

I could go on but that's enough right there for the Hall.

i never thought that posters here would be so generous in making a fighter enter HOF. the way i see, it, a boxer must just enter P4P top 10 and stay there for a year and he would be a hall of famer.

i would not put in there tim austin, daruis m, cory spinks. ric mayorga and pauli ayala

also, lightweights tarver and johnson are pretty much 90% sure of making it
