I find it interesting as GGG is past his best and lost his belts after two very close and controversial fights (same situation like B-Hop was after Taylor).

How do you see current (and older) GGG doing against sush a good opposition at SMW and LHW?

    How many wins and losses?

He loses to Wright Tarver Calzaghe he could arguably beat Pavlik and Pascal.

Beats them all, apart from Calzaghe which I am not sure about. Calzaghe will land more, but feels the power so needs to move in/out and pick his punch combos. It'll be a close points decision, not sure to who.

He couldn't even beat or hurt Canelo a blown up 154 pounder but he beats a giant in Tarver? Who would laugh at his punches. Stop!

I also don't see him beating Tarver, an elite big LHW, who later competed successfully at CW in his 40's. Tarver is big, skilled and hard hitting southpaw. Not a good style to compete against.

The current version of GGG still has no problem with Wright, Pavlik, Pascal. Not sure about Tarver, could go either way. (Depends on how motivated Tarver is that night) I think the current version of GGG gets outpointed by Calzaghe.

Beats Wright. Winky too defensive. Beats Pavlik by KO in a brusing give and take fight. Destroys Pascal. Pascal is too inactive during rounds. Beats Calzaghe. Calzaghe can get hit with power shots. Loses to Tarver. Too big too long.

Hard to say for the Super Middleweights. He never fought there so I don't know.

As for Wright and Pavlik. If they are prime versions, they aren't easy fights. Pavlik was a big MW and GGG isn't Hopkins defensively. I think the easiest one would be Wright. Don't think Winky's defensive style of standing in front of you would be the best against GGG. I don't see him deterring GGG with his offense either and would probably lose a UD. He would be covering up most of the fight.

Wright had one of the best jabs of the era he was defensive but it also frustrated his opponents and had a good workrate and underrated toughness. He was a better fighter than GGG and I would pick him to beat him.
Pavlik was a 50/50 fight Pavlik was tough had a good 1-2 with good pop he would keep GGG honest
Calzaghe would outbox and outwork GGG to a UD win. There is nothing that GGG does that suggest he can beat a fighter as good as Calzaghe.
Pascal is a dangerous match up for GGG he holds an extreme advantage in speed he was tough and had respectable power even though I see it as 50/50 fight.

Can’t comment with conviction as we havent GGG at 168 and above however imo, he beats all but Calzaghe.

How does he beat Tarver? Please explain, I would love to hear it. You do realize Tarver would dwarf GGG in the ring he was a huge 175 pound fighter.

Talk about NOVICE like you said in another post. Give me a break. Pascal . That dude fought about 1 minute of each round. GGG would jab his head off, tire him out and drill him in the late rounds. Maybe you should be checked for being a novice. Oh dont go playing the victim role now that someone checked you back.
