Paulie said something interesting in the post fight interview after his fight with Khan something along the lines of I've fought a younger version of myself (I disagree) So list a fighter who fought a similar fighter of themselves toward the end of they career.

Holmes has said his final successful defense against Carl Williams was precisely that, an instance of taking on a younger version of himself.

Holmes and Williams physically looked similar as well with both sporting those peanut heads.

After his fight against Jimmy Young,Muhammad Ali said that Jimmy reminded him of himself. Now that is a SUPREME compliment !

Yes, Kevin McBride is a carbon copy of young Mike Tyson.

Marco Antonio Barrera said Pacman reminded of himself at 24 GOING INTO their first fight which was probably not a good sign in retrospect. While Manny is a southpaw and he and Barrera employed radically differant styles I think Marco was refering to Manny's never say die, tit for tat mentality.

Very true. Carl was yet another 80's heavy who never fulfilled his potential.

I think Ali once said SNV was a younger better looking version of himself.
