Ortiz would never of got the PBF fight without beating the WBC Welterwight world champion andre berto.

*******s trying to justify a peterson fight are sad.

So is Pac taking Khan's revenge. LOOOOL.

I'd laugh if the Joe Cooper ref's PAC V PETERSON.

There's no source but hey no harm in talking about it. Timid Timmy waiting on the sidelines. The bobfather is doing him no good putting him in with a drugged up Joel.

It applied when he fought JMM, didn't it? A fight where most of you ignored the fact that both fighters were relatively the same size; thus not being that affected by the weight it was taking place. The end result was JMM repeating the trick for a third time.

The same would apply to the Peterson fight if these rumours are true. Pac normally comes in at 148, and Peterson 155. It taking place at either 140 or 147 will make absolutely no significant difference to the dynamics of the fight.

But it's pointless us even talking about it if it isn't even true. Let's wait for a confirmation, first.

Morales? But he doesn't want to fight him. People say he should use his last few fights carefully.

dudeeee, it will make a difference, training to get down to 147 and training to get down to 140 (for the weigh in) is a big difference , peterson is not used to 147, but yeah lets wait for confirmation.

Don't be surprised if Peterson pulls the upset slick black fighter

Big difference for who, exactly? Peterson or Pacquiao?

For Pacquiao, yes, having it at 147 would be more convenient. And Peterson - who's struggled with making 140 in the past - would also be cool with the prospect of saving himself the effort of dropping a further 7 pounds against a guy who he'll be much bigger than anyway.

well its apparent that bob is taking a stab at ODH and company, by stealing away his golden gooses rematch and his appeal to get his lost decision reversed .. I wonder how this will play out at the wild card gym ..:yep

actually i take back what i said, peterson has struggled to make 140 before, fair enough.:thumbsup still a joke fight, floyd fought ortiz coming off a 18 month lay off, who else could he have fought at 147 instead of him?(with a belt) (pac argument is not one we should get into)
