With Usyk winning, no rematch in sight and Dubios/Parker fighting for the IBF in February the winner may get a shot at Usyk before the belts splinter. I can't see Dubios beating Usyk, but will Parker present challenges for Usyk? He'd probably be the fastest HW Usyk has faced. Sad Fury lost, but I'm excited for the future.
I am hoping Parker is the next and final fight for Usyk. On Joe's side, he deserves it. On Uysk's, he is the only guy who is worthy.
I'm picking Dubois to win, but I'd be happy if Parker did. Seems a nice guy and it gets the prospect of rematches out of the way, which I really don't like most of the time. Personal dream fight is Zhang. Capping off with Zhang and Parker would be nice, fitting since Wilder is a bit of a wash fight now in most folks' eyes. Beating the guy who 12-0'd him and the guy who one punched him is even better anyways!
Whoever wins Dubois V Parker is truly Usyk's best challenger. If Parker can outbox, and out-hustle and really impress against Dubois which is a very tall order IMO as Dubois is fresh, experienced enough, full of confidence, and very very powerful. I do expect Dubois to stop Parker. If Parker can pull it off, I would be very very impressed and happy for him and it would certainly make the Usyk - Parker fight interesting as Parker could pose Usyk with some challenges, especially as we have already seen Usyk boss Dubois about in the ring.
