Friday @ York Hall, for the vacant WBO European welterweight title. Both men are putting streaks of two consecutive victories on the line, after suffering the parallel setbacks of close ten-rounder points losses in matches of critical importance to each.

"Pat-Man", a Northern Irish prospect who is yet to live up to his ballyhoo in an uneven professional campaign, is 2-0 (1) since losing to Brad Solomon in the José Sulaimán Invitational tourney quarterfinals. "Pretty Boy", a Liberian-Londoner transplant, is 2-0 (1) since challenging for the BBBofC welterweight Southern Area title, with unbeaten Louis Greene narrowly edging him out.

Yeah it’s a decent match but I fancy Gallagher strongly to win wide.

Kiwitt has a pretty good chance here. He's a good boxer and can move well, he's much bigger and taller, should be able to outpoint Gallagher if he can avoid getting pressured. Gallagher definitely had some issues with his stamina vs. Solomon. And he fought at 155 recently so we'll see how cutting weight affects his stamina. Kiwitt is pretty crafty.

    Let’s get it right though.

    Solomon is leagues above Kewitt.

His name is Kiwitt. And no, Solomon isn't "leagues" above Kiwitt. Maybe one league. But Gallagher is overrated. Kiwitt has a pretty good chance to beat him.

Are we're talking about the same Paddy Gallagher? You're talking about him as he's a world beater lmao.
Gallagher got two gifts on the cards vs. Solomon and Mucha, he lost both fights CLEARLY by 4-6 rounds (3-7 vs. Solomon, 2-8 vs. Mucha).
Kiwitt beat Greene, was robbed on the cards and had a close fight with Ennis-Brown who's one of the best prospects at 140 in the UK right now and perfromed great vs. Foley recently.

Gallager might be the slight fav here as he's tough to handle sometimes, coming forward type of a fighter and experienced but Kiwitt has all the tools to beat him if he shows up with a smart game plan.

Close decision anyway. Probably MD or SD.

@f1ght3rz are you more pumped for this or for Titov's card in Russia tomorrow?

Fortunately there should be minimal overlap and the main event definitely won't conflict, with London five hours behind Ekaterinburg.

Will probably favor Romanov vs. Carman over Gallagher vs. Kiwitt. But yeah, we should get to see both fights without trouble.

What's "close"? Obviously Ennis-Brown won and i think it's no shame to lose to him as he's a very good prospect. I think Ennis-Brown won 7-3 rounds. But many rounds were relatively close. No shutout, no demolishon job or similar stuff. Kiwitt fought solid and showed some will & heart.
