I actually bought into the Adames hype ( ), and was fond of Gallimore, so to me Teixeira was more of a villain - and I could never fully trust or get behind a guy that lost to Curtis Stevens (especially so far past his prime), but I've actually been slowly warming to him...starting with him saying the Charlos' motto should change to "Kittens Only".

KSS is 5′9½″ tall with 72" reach, towering over DLDC (who's 5'6" with 69½″) but half as experienced at 3-0 as opposed to 7-0.

 

10-9 Saber Simão, outboxing Lourenço da Costa fairly easily with just a quick double jab up top and then looping right on the body. Rinse & repeat. Slow, unurgent pressure from Lourenço da Costa, some body hooks and lunging overhands, reaching with very little.

 

Saber Simão starts teeing off on the short stubby switch-hitter (southpaw for now) in R2, landing some particularly hard long right hands.

At one point Lourenço da Costa tries selling a rabbit punch but the ref is unsympathetic.

Production value is so low-rent. They're literally fighting in a shopping mall with some folding chairs set up at the base of an escalator.

 

Complete shutout for Saber Simão, toying with his opponent, landing to body and head at will from outside with minimal movement.


I'm baffled how Lourenço da Costa defeated seven consecutive grown men with a pulse in a boxing ring.

 

Halfway through, highest compliment I can pay DLDC as he plods forward is he's got a decent chin (that or Klisman is a feather-fist, and/or not really sitting down on his shots)

 

There are some Lourenço supporters in the YouTube live stream chat sounding very concerned & confused. Apparently he isn't usually this bad.
