I kind of got the impression they meant the fight is unexpectedly magnificent...which is funny because the crowd was booing after the previous round. :yep

It may well be their domestic FOTY if the 9th and 10th keep up like that.

 

Round 9

Mohammedi is jabbing and uppercutting while circling and weaving. Bois is pushed into the ropes and tilted back over them while Mohammedi flurries straight up into his face, on his toes. Alitouche splits them, perhaps betraying himself as sympathetic to Bois. They flurry in and out of sloppy wrestling clinches. Neither is landing cleanly. Alitouche separate them and instructs them to box. Mohammedi does just that, 1-2 to the face, duck and withdraw, resurface and repeat. Bois is just chucking the left hook and a slow chopping right hand that is even more telegraphed and getting countered or grabbed every time. Alitouche calls time so they can once more fix tape on Bois' gloves. There are maybe ten seconds left in the round. Mohammedi once more shifts his weight impatiently in a neutral corner. Time in. Left hook by Mohammedi, followed by a blocked left hook, then two jabs as he backs up. Bois keeps pressing in but can't get a shot off. LATE HIT BY MOHAMMEDI! BLATANT! UNPROTECTED FREE SHOT WITH THE RIGHT HAND ON BOIS' FACE!

Round 10

Mohammedi is jabbing his way in and then wrapping his arms around Bois' back and shaking him. Bois wrenches free and loads up hooks and chopping rights. Mohammedi is too quick-handed and grabs him before Bois can connect. Alitouche gets in Mohammedi's face about the holding, not sure if that was an official final warning. Mohammedi leaps in with a left hook and holds. Mohammedi darts out and then back in, landing combinations on the face of Bois. VERY fast hands by Mohammedi, throwing in bunches and showing impressive stamina to be this busy after more than nine rounds. Bois, panicked, looks at his corner, or is perhaps looking at the round clock to see if he can make it. Mohammedi is all over him. Lefts and rights! Now it's Bois trying to hold!

Good match-up. Good scores. Good Friday afternoon tide-over morsel of boxing. (although the bar was set low in the last fortnight with the dissatisfying Aydin vs. Corley preceded by Fabrice Aurieng's rout of the Bigger's Better field providing the highlight of the week before)

 

Bois is pissed. I think he thinks he won. He and Mohammedi are seated with the commentator holding mics and having a heated argument.
