What a fight this is, fair play to the ref for letting it continue because I can think of a few British refs who’d have stopped it early.

Didn’t like some of the punches in that round, you could see Brown’s expression where he’s like “f me”

No need for the ref to stop that there.

And the inevitable bull**** stoppage against the away fighter lol. If that was Brown, the ref wouldn't have stopped him unless he was dead.

Brown is a ko in waiting wide open defensively when he steps up he will get found out.

Pat Brown is a brute and Ducar is a tough tough man.

think the stoppage was a little early but I think it was on its way and he was on a hiding to nothing towards the end.

That was a great fight for Brown, whilst he was dominant he’ll have learned more tonight than in his previous 5 fights combined.

He punches very hard and when he does let them go, he goes head to body very well. However he got caught with numerous silly shots tonight and leaves his chin up in the air, so things to take away to work on.

Crolla being allowed unlimited knockdowns yet Ducar being waved off like that just sums British refs up.

That’s what a fight like tonight is all about. He’s blown everyone else away so needed rounds, especially only being 6 fights into his career.

He’ll have learned a lot tonight, got caught with some flush shots himself so can take that away and work on going forward.

Ducar gave Brown exactly what he needed rounds and fired back.

PB gets caught head upright coming in a lot, open to overhand shots and uppercuts. Very heavy handed Brown, but be interesting how he takes losing rounds and not having it all his own way.

Late to post William Crolla would of been stopped by many a ref if not the home fighter, again another with poor defensive fundamentals but after being dropped 4 times unreal turnaround.

Good to hear Byrne is alert and talking in hospital spiteful KO, head slapped off canvas.

Reminded me for some reason of when Jim McDonnell received a nasty ko off a USA fighter Kenny Vice, just totally gone and out on a stretcher.

I agree. Matchroom needs to be very careful with the matchmaking going forward. Pat Brown is far too open and far too easy to hit.

A few years ago it was described how William Crolla would follow in his father's footsteps and become world champion. He won't become anything. Jordan Thompson was the new David Haye and definitely a future world champion. He is completely finished.

I wonder if we can write the same story about Pat Brown in a couple of years ?

We have all seen fighters that make the mistake of thinking they can KO anyone or have the power to turn a fight on it's head.

The higher the levels the opponent knows the flaws in an opponent, Matchroom already saying PB will soon be too big for CW.

If he does start struggling to make 200lb I see him gassing after the halfway mark at the top level, he's a good attacking fighter but rarely tucks his chin down, it's up in the air waiting to be caught, last night his head was pinged back many times by a moderate puncher.
