A bit like light heavyweight puncher Gradus Kraus, I think we’ll see far more defensive responsibility from Brown when the level and threat increases in front of him. Last night was perfect matchmaking and produced the optimum learning fight at this point of his career.

Switched off the main event after a couple of rounds. Honestly thought Brown was a heavyweight. Not buying into the hype yet, but at least he’s getting rounds in the bag.

Showed a lot of promise on the offensive side - looked calmed, fit, well paced and good generalship. He slowly ground his man down, who was game as anything and a credit to himself.

Defensively, I don’t agree he can improve dramatically. It’s a technical thing, way too open to jab and right hand. Must have been caught clean with both punch types a dozen times. When he steps through the levels that will be exposed more and more. However, he looked like he has a good chin.

Huh, I never even noticed that this was British forum specific RBR thread. Thought it was just a bit quiet lol.
