can anybody see this fight actually happening? mendy looked ok when being allowed to swarm forward but i can't see magee giving him any real chance to execute these tactics
cannot see it. Mendy should get a deal with a proper promoter like Matchroom or Maloney and get built up he is only 19. If he was born in London and had a cockney accent he would be signed to Frank Warren and be undefeated right now. How about Mendy vs Salam for the Southern Area.
i think he could beat salam, cause salam likes to box and would allow him to execute his come forward style
Mendy is still so young, he's had a very tough start but hopefully now he's won this they can start him off like a prospect (sort of a rebirth if you will). Would certainly not have him in there for the European title next
To be honest Mendy would be bashed rotten if he fought Magee. You could see the look when Magee was asked about fighting Mendy. He knows it be a pisstake. The kids 19 and is no Salvador Sanchez. As mentioned but Rob Palmer get himself a proper promoter. Build up his record and then head for domestic title.
This. Mendy deserves a break. Magee would smash him. I like Mendy though, no need to start matching him soft, nor is there any reason for him to remain an 'opponent'.
