    Round 1

Nielsen is pushing forward behind a jab. Perdomo is cautious, circling away slowly, pawing with his own southpaw jab. Nielsen is menacing but not committing to pressing his quarry all the way into the ropes, giving him space & respect.

    10-9 Nielsen

    Round 2

Nielsen is throwing high right jabs at Perdomo, chasing him across the ring and hooking at him with the right as Perdomo falls into the ropes. Light right jabs from the hip by Perdomo. Nielsen pops him in the face with a jab and Perdomo jumps in to hold. Uppercut on the body by Nielsen. Perdomo is galloping away, hands down, neck stretched taut with his skull pulled all the way back as Nielsen lobs big inclining lefts at him from the chest behind double right jabs.

    Round 3

Nielsen is jabbing Perdomo across the ring and wiping his nose with telegraphed right hooks thrown without even fully retracting his arm from the jab position. Lots of holding by Perdomo. Nielsen is using spatula uppercuts to pry him off. Perdomo is badly hurt by a chopping left and sent reeling into the ropes. Nielsen rushes in and smothers his own work going for the finish. Perdomo drops low and holds Nielsen around the waist.

Nielsen wants to become not only the second person to ever stop the brawling Venezuelan, but the second Dane.

(Mikkel Kessler stopped Gusmyr Perdomo in the 4th in his pre-Super Six tuneup in 2009...and that was 32lb south of CW...)

    Round 4

Nielsen is struggling to push free as Perdomo clings to him persistently. Perdomo is keeping both arms linked around Nielsen's back, dragging him across the ring in a crocodile death roll and bashing up top with the left arm. Nielsen is wasting lots of energy, swiveling and jerking his arms to wrench them free and then frantically unloading on Perdomo whenever a clinch is burst apart, throwing right jabs and looping lefts in sloppy bunches until Perdomo backs himself onto the ropes and holds again. More clubbing left rabbit punches and stiff-arms by Perdomo.

    Round 5

Nielsen is waving right jabs out in the air, driving Perdomo backward. Wild flurry by Perdomo, headhunting with slaps up from his waist in a quick sortie before returning outside and slinking along the ropes. Nielsen is giving Perdomo lots of space, not attacking, perhaps wary of being grabbed and tired out (and fouled) in those clinches. Perdomo is actually taking a few chances on the outside, doubling his right jab into Nielsen's guard and reaching around with a long, low left on the kidneys.

10-9 Nielsen, slow and boring round, and relatively close.

Yep, he already failed the Mikkel challenge, letting Perdomo go past four. :yep (and not dropping him within three for bonus points)

    Round 6

Nielsen is getting closer to scoring a knockdown, staggering Perdomo whenever he launches the slow up-and-over left from its resting place beneath his chin, hauling it like a sandbag at Perdomo's big unmoving head. Perdomo is creeping away, legs slowing. Jabs from Nielsen are ducked, but only barely. Clubbing left and right hook by Nielsen falling in. Perdomo stumbles. Nielsen keeps attacking. Perdomo down - unclear whether a slip or ruled an official KD.

    10-8 Nielsen
