Nielsen is hammering Perdomo with the left hand. Perdomo is hurt, leaning in and shoving both forearms into Nielsen's chest. Nielsen is grinding his way in behind the jab again, getting tied up and wrestled. Body shots by Nielsen when free, which is only briefly.

Nielsen is jabbing Perdomo hard in the face, actually stepping through with each jab and lining it up to land square on the nose, making Perdomo blink and retreat. Nielsen is following with the heavy left hand, managing to land despite his low hand speed by timing Perdomo's steps backward. Nielsen is keeping the pressure on, and not stepping all the way into clinching range.

Round 9

Nielsen is back to getting held every time he punches again. Perdomo is faking a couple of jabs, paddling them against Nielsen's guard and then cannonballing in the left up top, slow and weak, arm-weary. Perdomo is caught throwing an overhand left with a Nielsen flurry and falls in trying to hold. Perdomo is getting hurt whenever he isn't clinching now.

Round 10

Nielsen is jabbing away on the face of Perdomo. The right arm of Perdomo curls around Nielsen's neck and he slams in a few left uppercuts. Nielsen is starting to throw combos now, looking for the stoppage. Right hooks and pendulum lefts on the body by Nielsen. Perdomo drags him into a corner, holding on. Nielsen is blocking as Perdomo lets his fists fly up top, slapping away, gassed. Clinch. Break. Right hook by Nielsen. Perdomo interlocks arms with him. Both flurry at close quarters.
