Patrick Teixeira: The Brazilian Destruidor-The Savage Mandible Punisher Of Sao Paolo.

After Curtis had an AWFUL display against N'dam, I thought that Teixeira would win, but then I saw John David Jackson and I knew that I could expect something special out of Stevens. IMO John needs to drop guys like Khabib etc, and just focus on his power hitters. I'd love to see Stevens vs N'dam rematch, I can see Stevens cutting the ring off better, and setting his punches up+breaking the body down better. Still a tough fight.

 

I wish wilder would just go to john david jackson, i see no chance of him beating a fury under a breland unless he lands something huge.

 

You could tell within twenty seconds of the opening bell that Stevens was going to mangle him.

 

Stevens might be lacking in the skills dept. but he's sure as hell fun to watch.

 

Eh, the Cubans don't have it anywhere near as bad. Plenty of Cubans have normal or even stellar punch resistance. (some are quite bad at taking shots though - but overall I'd say they're on a par with denizens of another Caribbean island: PR. In fact, Cubans might on average have better chins than Puerto Ricans...)

Brazilians are like the Georgians/Hungarians/Latvians of this hemisphere. Their chins are just consistently, improbably bad. Like something outta Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, with the coin flipping tails a hundred times.

 

Looks like Oscar signed a sucky Brazilian after all
