Floyd lands first and ko's Roy in 4. JONES COULD NOT TAKE A PUNCH!!!! The difference is Floyd got up when decked...Jones stayed down!
It's got to be Floyd. I don't think Jones would have taken Floyd's power but I can see Floyd taking Jones' punches. Like Red said, Floyd generally got back up after going down. Jones didn't.
Interestingly, Floyd usually doesn't win in all these fantasy matchups, but I like him against Roy Jones, by ko. as said above Floyd can get get from knockdowns, while Roy doesn't.
Roy would have to fight from the outside. He isn't going to move inside like Liston did on Floyd. Plus Floyd has very fast hands himself, with power for his weight.
Even battle for first half ,with maybe a kd from Jones .Floyd starts to tag Jones more often and Roy Begin's to look shaky. Patterson would wallop Jones with a hook that comes so fast that Roy is almost out before he hit's the floor . Patterson w ko 9
I pick Floyd every time Roy fought someone with good hand speed he had trouble getting off, (Griffin 1 and Calzaghe) If Roy came out like he did in the Griffin rematch he could score an early KO but then he would be in more danger of Floyd`s power so I pick Floyd plus Roy wouldn`t take the fight.
