I'm curious what if any Heavyweights the very small Floyd Patterson has over these heavyweights.

    Is Patterson more powerful then...

    Riddick Bowe?

    Larry Holmes?

    Andrew Golota?

    Michael Moorer?

    Bert Cooper?

Bowe definently hit harder, but Patterson hit harder than Holmes, and probably Golota as well. Golota was a giant and strong but never had a lot of punching power.

Moorer was a very hard hitter with serious pop in his punches and Cooper likely hit harder. Patterson was obviously much, much faster than Smokin Bert but in terms pure power Cooper edges it.

    Cooper
    Patterson
    Holmes

    In terms of power:

    1. Riddick Bowe
    2. Bert Cooper
    3. Floyd Patterson
    4. Michael Moorer
    5. Larry Holmes
    6. Andrew Golota

I would think Moorer and Patterson's power is close and those two are interchangeable.

    Wow, really?

Why would Bowe come in that highly?

IMO Cooper would be hardest puncher from those choices. Ask Holyfield and McCall. For 3 rounds Cooper was as dangerous as any heavyweight of his generation. He staggered the iron chinned Holyfield into the ropes and McCall allegedly stated that Cooper hit him the hardest of any fighter he ever faced.
