Paul Appleby a shot fighter at 24 years old?

Reading Roz and Billy's comments is straight out of an Irvine Welsh novel:

in fairness i do like Billy Nelson, I mind going into his gym about 4/5 years ago after limond fought khan and billy got limond to sign a pair of gloves for me, i was well made up

 

First post on here but after reading some posts I had to comment - the main thing that matters is that Paul is okay and on the mend. It could of been a lot worse and thank god it wasn't, he'll be back after a LONG well deserved break. The boxing world is second to none when it comes to being supportive when something bad like this happens so thanks very much.

I think Paul needs a break and he needs to have a long talk to his trainer and manager about his future . my personal opinion he was rushed into challenging for titles to quick and like posters have said already to many wars he needs to change his aggressive style and tighten his defence he was a accomplish boxer as a amateur and can box yet for some reason he a become a fighter and forgot his defence but i do think he can have a good career if he can change his style
