For the Celtic Super Featherweight title on the undercard of Burns Moses this Saturday.

Interesting fight this one. Seen Ormond against Coveney and Stoychev and he is very busy, not massively heavy handed but definitely has power and picks his body shots very well. Quite Surprised they have put Appleby straight in this one coming off the ko to Walsh.

How does everyone see this fight going

Top sport is about levels, boxing's about levels, I think Appleby takes this.

I'm not that surprised at this fight really. Paul's had a few setbacks with the loss to Laryea and to Walsh. He's only 24 so it's not a "now or never" case with him but a win here can be the difference between fighting for domestic honours within his next few fights or being seen as a domestic journeyman.

I'm expecting this to be a good fight, and I'm backing my countryman here and saying Appleby will win on points. :happy

If Paul sticks to his boxing, he takes this....BUT, if he walks in with the same "style" as his last fight...then maybe not. Be smart...good luck

I dont know much about Ormond but why step up to Lightweight to face Mitchell......if he is a natural Super Feather ?

Also....with all respect to the guy.......his record hasnt got a lot on it atm.

Would you have taken the Mitchell fight if you were his trainer/manager Vano ?

Anyways......i see Appleby winning via bodyshots.

    Why ? Just a feelin........

All the best to them......gonna be a barn burner :deal

I'm not sure he has ever made the SFW limit tbh. The guy looks massive for a Super Feather even if he has made the weight.

If I was his trainer, I wouldn't have made the fight. He is far too inexperienced at this stage. I'm just bitter as I was half looking forward to Mitchell - Ormond
