My post was similar in it's cynicism, though not as direct.

Im still asking the question. Why is there nothing 'official', rather than some little post by a newbie on a forum?????

Mate i read it and wasnt saying you were wrong about his retirment i was just making the point you said the other guy makes himself look foolish by doubting Briggs's new trainer and i was saying thats not what he was doing he was saying the article might not be real...

i still havent seen anything OFFICIAL yet STILL!!

maybe i have more common sense in my little finger than this ******s entire body :huh

no, ill dumb it right down for you.

Paul Brigg's retirement has been announced in ONE place only. On a 'small-time forum (on the scale of things) by someone who is not known as paul's trainer. as opposed to someone on here like gloveup on here who we pretty well know for sure is dino billinghurst.

In the media, this would call for it to be reported as 'alleged'.

i believe it, but i find it interesting that it has been listed ANYWHERE else. I'll stand corrected if its shown anywhere else.

I wont be giving closing congratulations to briggsy based on that post only. Its just not strong enough. (but that doesnt say i dont believe it)

to go back to the journalistic thing, If i was a boxing reporter.. i would not be reporting a story that briggs has retired just because of that post. you would verify it.

feel free to respond without a personal attack.

Actually that forum is the biggest for Australian boxing, but I see where you're coming from. Trust me, it's Paul's trainer.

Westside, give up mate. people on this forum and complete dolts. they are naive fools.
they believe everything they read and hear, instead of using common sense.

I just got this message from Nathan: "Paul's 100% retired. He's happy and still has a lot of options. He is looking forward to getting behind me. I'm training the house down and I'm really, really, hungry."

Hope that puts this all to bed.
