With not too long now until Butler challenges the Monster in Tokyo does anyone on here see him being able to cause the great Inoue any problems at all?

What type of game plan do you think he will have going into the challenge? Does his style of fighting indicate that he will have any form of success in the bout?

Anyone thinking he could do the unthinkable?

Discuss any or all of the questions above, and anything related to this.

He'll do well to make it out of the first round. Over in 3 maximum.

The quality of this forum is going down quicker than Katie Price’s knickers.

Can't see it going more than 3 or 4 rounds. The gulf in class and ability is enormous its a huge ask

I expect it'll be over within the first clean head shots landed by Inoue. Within 2 rounds for me.

If he's wearing winning gloves it might go a little longer.

If he does better then that, he's already well exceeded expectations.

This “fight” is not worth creating a thread for IMO.

Butler has zero to offer Inoue..nothing. Everybody including his Team know that. His only plan should be about how to get himself out of the ring, as quickly and safely as possible and collect his cheque.

I really hope Butler gets paid well otherwise it's foolhardy to take a fight where you're sure to lose.

The first clean one that lands and its over for butler, fair play to him for getting himself into this position although luck has played a huge part in that.

Has anybody been in camp with a fighter this far out of his depth? What's it like? Surley everybody including himself know he doesn't stand a chance.

If he survives past 3 rounds, he's done very well.

This is an interesting talking point - I'm sure years ago someone on another forum commented about meeting a drunk Billy Graham who told them Hatton had "no chance" Vs Floyd before they had fought.

I agree with the general conscientious, that he has no chance of winning. Butler style under JG is to pot shot from outside, with a high guard. That gives him a chance of getting through 3-4 round imo. If he gets to 2nd half of fight, he has done well. I hope we are all wrong and he wins, in what would be the biggest win by a British fighter ever imo.
