I respect your sentiment here @Serge, but this looks more like a case of wanting to be in a massive undisputed fight with probably a massive payday to boot, instead of having to face his WBO mandatory soon and probably lose.

2. Warren
3. Moloney

All three of those guys destroy Butler. No wonder he wants the Inoue fight. Good for him he's been boxing forever and gets to cash out with a payday

Casimero would have beat Donaire and Butler. Oh, well they giving both to Inoue on a platter so to speak. They nuffin but food for the monster. lol.

 

I don't know if Butler makes it out of the 1st round against Inoue.

I think Butler makes it to Round 5 or 6. Donaire and Rodriguez got knocked out quick because they came to win. Butler is probably going to hang on for dear life and shell up.

 

Probably not worse than Terence Crawford vs Julius Indongo

 

Obviously it will be a mismatch, but credit to Butler if he truly deserves to fight Inoue for all the marbles. Besides if the fight materializes and Inoue wins, not only will he become the undisputed champion, but also become the mandatory for Fulton when he decides to move up to 122. Either way win-win for Gojira.

 

It's absurd that a guy could destroy the #2 guy in his class, yet his claim as "undisputed" isn't solidified till he puts a fringe contender in a casket. Just one of the many reasons to avoid this alphabet nonsense. If it has to be done, though, hopefully it happens soon. There's no reason to wait nearly half a year for this Godzilla vs. Bambi-esque slaughter.
