I think the IBF have not called the mandatory yet therefore he can make another fight and they will announce that the winner has to fight the mandatory.

Paul Butler is a future class act and could go far in the world of boxing. I won't lie and say I would of preferred him to have a crack at super flyweight first but he has got shot at the bantamweight championship. I would like to see him win the title, defend it against the mandatory and then fight in a unification bout if McDonnell wins the WBA
