Just saw Paul’s interview after his fight on Saturday he looked marked up and just scraped a points win over a fighter he would of stopped a couple of years ago I’ve been saying for a while now that Gallagher fighting style just doesn’t work for Paul all his silky movement has but almost gone a couple of lads I know who went to the fight had it a draw and said they couldn’t of complained if the other guy had got the decision ?

Fight was at Super-Bantemweight as well. Career looks like its at a dead end at the minute.

Just sitting and waiting for that WBSS to be over. Shame he still can't make super fly. Fight with Edwards and Yafai are very winnable.

But he looked at his career v Hall in the rematch and that was under Joe.

    He has just stalled.

Hall was shot to bits well before the rematch but Paul really should consider a new coach who could get him back to his silky smooth upper body movement he used to have imo

You’re not a fan of Gallagher are you mate :) Wasn’t there something else you posted about how the Smith’s were gonna leave him a while back?

Agree with the posts on here. His career has really stagnated, and he doesn't look the same as he used to, he looked like he could onto bigger things. I think he's still only in his mid to late twenties? Still time to get his career back on track. I agree, a change of trainer could benefit him. Somebody who can get him to box and move a bit more again. I don't know what his current set up is like with regards to having a nutritionist etc. but if it's at all possible for him to get back down to super fly that would probably be beneficial as well.

Paul isn't afraid to change trainers when things are going badly and he's not happy with his training - he left farnell and Oliver so he must be relatively happy but he is struggling for opportunities.

Easy to say with hindsight but he shouldn't have ever been in the ring with Tete, but take the point above that his career best performance was under Gallagher in the Hall rematch.

I really like Paul but you must admit he has gone backwards under Gallagher and you have failed to mention his worst career performance was under Gallagher when Paul got schooled against I think the guy was called Rodriguez Gallagher style of fighting is all wrong for Paul you must agree with that ?

Nothing to add to what’s been said. Paul is too small and Gallagher is not good with classy boxers.i dont know what paul can do....
