Shane McPhilben's a waste of space these days. Iv'e seen his last few fights and he's clearly not an honest pro anymore. I mean he's just turning up for the money without even trying. I remember him going over a round against somebody when he could have got back up. And when he fought Hughie Fury on channel 5 he was meant to take him a few hard rounds, but he quit on his stool after a round or two and Hughie learned nothing from it. Now McPhilben goes and does this in a title fight, it was clear as day he wanted disqualified from the first bell. This is when the board should come in and revoke his license. I doubt any promoter will even touch him after this anyway because he's bad for business.

I remember seeing Shane literally about 10 mins after he'd been stopped by Chris Keane...he didn't seem bothered and was just asking where the bar was.

He seemed the same after he won the British CW belt, in his post match interview he was going on about he was going to get drunk for the next couple of nights etc, I know he had reason to celebrate but in that interview he come across that he wasn't taking his boxing seriously.
