He is, without a doubt, one of the best middleweights at welterweight.

As long as he stays away from grapplers he'll look phenomenal. :D

Good move from Bellator with the right opponents its easy to make Daley look like a monster and get a following going. Exciting as well.

Too bad he has no shot at winning the title.

Well, I guess he has a punchers chance, but Askren would easily grind out a decision, I think.

You think? I give Daley a sound punchers chance. But like you say Daleys weakness is the mat.

Nah Askren is a grinder. A puncher's chance will only take you so far when your grappling is shite fighting in the States. It would look like the Kos fight part two

Even if he did win, would you want a guy like that representing the company, his ego would go through the roof.

Daley vs. Douglas Lima would be a great fight. Lima would have an advantage on the mat, but I don't know if the fight would take place there. Lima loves to strike, and he is pretty good at it. I would actually favor him on the feet.

True. He's a lot like Melvin Manhoef in that respect.

Yeah Lima would be good, for all his faults Daley does have a habit of kodding decent Kickborxers/Muay Thai guys like Kampy, Bang and Prof X. And there's the ATT rivalry angle after he beat Masvidal.

Yeah I guess that makes sense when talking about fighting styles. But if I had to compare him to a fighter it would probably be Gilbert Yvel. You will probably get a highlight kod or two, but long term the guy is a complete liability

In terms of temperament agreed. Although Yvel mellowed with age.

I hope they didnt break the bank to sign him (not that they cant afford it with the viacom deal). He will let them down eventually. But with the right clauses in his contract it shouldnt be too much of a risk
