Ive watched Daley from practically a novice to what he is today , ive seen him live on many many UK cards , his stand up is what makes Daley exciting , and beleive me ill tell you this right now Paul Daley's wrestling and JJ has improved A LOT !!!!!! , you may find that hard to beleive after the Koscheck / Shields fight etc , but it has .

IMO Paul's stand up is what seperates him from most fighters in the world , there is not many fighters who have the same level of stand up as Paul Daley , may i remind you that Daley was a Euro and World Muay Thai champion ......................

As ive eluded too , Daley's resume is by no means a who's who , but i beleive he was filling his holes in the sport of MMA and becoming a more complete fighter , by the way you have just written off Daley's one sided destruction of Kampmann tells me you dont like the kid and that your biased , Kampman is one of the UFC's top WW's , FACT , the man is a well rounded beast @70 and Paul hamered him badly :deal on short notice .

Ok Babalu's position in the current 205lb division , i see nobody in the top 10 in the UFC who wouldnt beat Babalu easily , Babalu is a well rounded fighter who's great at nothing , in comparison to the chasing pack , he's just an average well rounded fighter and if im honest in todays 205lb division id be tempted to place him in the " gate keeper " bracket , that may seem harsh but i just dont see Babalu as a relevant fighter in that division , if you were to pit Daley against any of the stand up fighters @70 barring Alves he's a favourite , if you pit him against any of the wreslers who can stand up well enough to survive he's the 2nd favourite ...............

I know you believe Daley's BJJ and wrestling have improved "A LOT", but a lot just didn't cut it in his fights with Koscheck and Thompson, recent fights where he looked very beatable on the mat. Wins over Mclovin and Kampmann are nice, but neither has done anything to be considered elite WW's and there are still many fighters that I would choose to beat Daley, both in the UFC and out. Daley's simply not good enough or popular enough to get away with attempting to assault another fighter after the bell. Not that it should matter, but he's a unanimous decision loss waiting to happen anyway.

Daleys striking is good? He couldnt even hurt Kos with his cheap shot.

Daley is incredibly overrated. It says alot about the WW division when hes fighting for a chance to compete for a title.

Who said anything about Daley being elite ???? , i said he can hang with any WW in the world who is considered a stand up fighter :huh , that in itself is an accolade , Daleys stand up is so good that the UFC took him on despite the holes in his game , they then gave him 2 grapplers and he demolished both of them and was out wrestled by a better wrestler in his 3rd UFC fight , there is no shame at all in that , in summary i think you under rate Daley as a mixed martial artist , i mean hell , what do you wanna see Josh Koscheck and John Fitch wrestle the socks off every ****in fighter in the world on there way to a UD ??? or do you wanna se people GKTFO !!!!!!! :deal

Maybe after being beaten down on his back for 3 rounds , and the fact he was stood still and threw the punch with all upper body motion might have something to do with that .

I think you need to stop wanking over WWE dvd's and start to learn and appreciate the art of the stand up game , i mean how can you dis regard a striker with Daley's stand up credentials , its plain ignorance bro !!!!!

    This aint wrestling !!!!!!!!!!

Take your tampon out, its a joke.

I love standup fighters, my first love was boxing, I boxed myself, I'm just not one to make excuses for them in a sport where it isn't enough.

The whole "world champion" thing is a bit rich though; the world of Muay Thai outside of Thailand is so disorganized there are about 30 different "world champions" Unless your belt is from one of the two big stadiums in Thailand or from K1, the claim of "world champion" is probably a bit of a stretch.
