He turned down a vacant Euro fight v Haskins. What if Haskins chose to go for the British belt? Would Edwards vacate?
Ahhh i havent got this week BN yet I think this is interesting as Paul could have potentially been catapulted to Euro level in the sce of no time. Though the flyweight division is pretty sparse domestically it would be good to see him in with Ahmed and Edwards and Bayaar again before trying to take on someone lke Haskins who has taken a few fighters ff the rails in Broadhurst and Mcdonnell who did eventually come back
To be honest he isn't and it's not sorta fight that would do him any good. Goes in there....loses on points in a frustrating maulfest and get's marked with that horrible brush that Haskins tends to brush everyone with ''oh this guys ****ing ****...his last fight was crap''. He needs rounds under belt at title level and then go for it.
I'd leave Haskins alone full stop..... either now or in ten fights time. Even if you win you'll look shite in doing it. Plus I NEVER want to see that mofo polluting my screens again
The Jury is out for me after week 1. I liked the changes Tris Dixon bought in when he took over as Editor. However I think it will be a success: Editors letter, Bob Mee & The Panel - great start Joe & Richie - Maybe they should have 2 different fighters each week. I see this going a bit stale after a while Readers letter cut down - Understandable in the internet forum age 10 count & Hit & Miss - Clever News - Could be longer as I always want more Action & previews - good as ever Fight guide - could be 2 pages, but squashed up Q & A, Beyond the Ropes - Superb Thumbs up BN
hats off to eddie for being honest no way should he be jumping straight into a fight with haskins without even getting 12 rounds under his belt
