Edwards is pushing forward, landing his jab, eating hooks but not caring. Forearm shoves by Edwards, getting inside and muscling Satchell toward the ropes and hammering over the top with right hands behind his jab. Big exchange, hooking together, Edwards keeping Satchell on the ropes. Big right hand by Edwards!!

ESB servers crashing/sluggishness have put me a few rounds behind in posting the rounds, keep having to refresh the site due to database errors.

 

Round 9

Slugging it out, both tired. Satchell is simply putting more shots together, boxing Edwards' ears in. The efforts in the previous few rounds seem to have sapped Edwards a bit. Weak pressure from Edwards, as Satchell stands in the pocket and leans and counters. Both landing arrrrrrrum punches, Satch more of them.

Round 10

SOLID right hands by Satchell, hurting Edwards. All Edwards can do now is back up as he gets tagged from range, not able to put up much of a fight anymore. About halfway into the round, Richie Davies waves it off as Satchell just keeps landing right hands.

Oh, they are going to show Theophane vs. Hamilton on tape delay. :shock:

Satchell has his son on his lap as he sits on the ring apron and gives his victory interview. Seems a nice kid.

Maloney says that Chris Edwards is next for him, with "both belts on the line".

He disses Price and Sexton by saying "we had two of the biggest men in England in the ring tonight, and two of the littlest...and the better action was brought by the littlest!" :yep

They're not showing Theophane vs. Hamilton on delay in its entirety. Just bits and bobs.

Theophane 25 of 129, 19%

Hamilton 42 of 181, 23%

 

Maybe it wasn't such a bad call for SS1 to not televise the whole thing. :dead

(still, on principle...)

 

They've skipped ahead to the 10th round and nothing looks much different.

Theophane does open up with some big right hands in the final minute, but not shaking the earth with them.
