All the hype about how he was gonna school Khan, including all my irish mates who were telling me for years McCloskey would KO Khan within 3 rounds...he did a good impression of Audley against Haye.

And I'm not saying he quit, but he wasn't exactly making a case to the doctor that he wanted to continue.

Ah well £15 not well spent.

He came to dance, not to fight.

McCloskeys team did more post fight than Paul did during the fight, I dont think he laid a glove on Khan, He got outclassed each and every round by Khan and was down in round 4 then got stopped by the ref and doctor.

McCloskeys reaction to the fight being stopped wasn't of someone who was distraught!

He didn't do anything himself though.

Stunned even before the doctor had made the decision?

Yeah making someone miss is all that is needed. Throwing and landing punches means nothing! Hit and don't get hit..........ermmm sorry that would be don't get hit only--The Sweet Science according to Team McCloskey.

Terrible post, last time I checked boxing was for 12 rounds... Everyone knows Khan is fast out of blocks & if you as opponent get through opening rounds you have a real chance..

I reckon McCloskey was indeed stunned by ref / doctors decision - from experience if you are cut you have no idea how bad it is & I'm sure he assumed it was bad thats why ref was stopping it. Calling him coward / Fraud is way out of order.

Team Khan looked satisfied the fight was ended so prematurely. A disgraceful way to end a fight, Khan was getting worried.

Worried from a non existent threat, don't make McCloskey to be out to be something he's not, a world class fighter. He struggled with a over the hill Lauri.
