Khan was throwing like **** but missing near enough every punch, the plan was a round 8-10 ko...sorry if no one from co Derry told you.

mccloskey landed the only clean shot in the fight....and any unbiased fan will see that...khan would have not, and will not, last 12 rounds against Dudey. Anyone that doesn't see khan as the mediocre fighter he actually is, is probably english, or just a deluded nutsucker :hey

 Oh for **** sake, he didn't land a single half decent punch in any of the rounds. People are making it out as if he was performing the rope a dope. He was in his shell and focussed totally on defending, which to be fair he made a good job of, but as soon as he opened up he was getting caught by Khans vastly superior handspeed. Someone in another thread said that if it had been Lamont Peterson and he employed those tactics there would be widespread criticism of his performance and they were 100% spot on.

Posters like you are as much an embarrassment to Ireland as McCloskey and his team were tonight. I'm of Irish extraction and proud of the great Fighting Irish traditions. When did the Emerald Isle become a bunch of whingeing bitches?

McCloskey couldn't have knocked Khan out tonight with a sledgehammer if they fought for 50 rounds.

If one of the biggest punchers in Boxing could not knock-out Amir Khan.. Do you really think P.Mccloskey would knock him out?? The only way Amir Khan can get knocked out is if Rampage Jackson has a free shot on his face. Even then i wouldn't bet on it. Although there is a chance Khan's leg would wobble lol

Anyone who paid for this event, in the anticipation of a great fight is a complete mug, and deserved to be ripped off. It was always going to be a one sided beat down for Khan, which for Khan was just a stop gap fight.

Look in pro boxing lots of European fighters are willing to lose the first few rounds to come good later in the fight. Some fighters who have good defence like to warm into the fight. AA or more recently on these shores Belghecam are examples of this. It sounds to me like your a bitter Khan fan. By the way the simple fact is the vast majority of posters in here felt Khan would blitz mcCloskey in 3 rounds. :hi:

I had a choppy stream but my god what I saw he looked like ****

A homeless version of Junior Witter. Awkward being a byword for a total lack of fundamentals

Mckloskey would never have stopped Khan, wasn't a great performance by Khan but he still won every round.
Mckloskey isn't Irish anyway he is from Northern Ireland so belongs to us Brits.....:thumbsup
