Paul "Hoko" Hodkinson .. is he still involved in the sport ?

    Is it his son, Kev that has just turned pro? Seem him at our gym, was very impressed!

    One of my first 'boxing' memories that, seeing Hoko on Wogan with the WBC strap.

    he was in that bbc NI docu about rogan fighting skelton. he used to be trained by john breen so came in to say hello and wish rogan luck. think it said hes not really involved anymore but cant be sure about that

    hoko does not get rememberd enough he was a wbc champion, and one of the top featherweights in the world in his prime, he beat steve cruz he took barry mcguians belt of him.

    his lads turned pro, he was up sparring gary a few weeks ago, not sure bout paul though

    Aye, I seem to recall they showed his left hook disposing of Frenchman Guy Bellehigue. For some reason, which I've never been able to fathom, the aggressive, crisp-punching Hoko was never a draw in Liverpool. He was punch-perfect at times.

    A really good fighter. I watched his career from the amateur days and I knew when I was watching him he was gonna go all the way.
    Surprising really that he's not remembered that much.

    that scrap that he had with steve robinson for the WBO strap was a lil classic!!?
