It becomes a pissing contest about who can outdo who. Midget emmanuel fights 5'11 Margacheato, so Floyd goes to slay an even larger giant in Williams.

Who doesn't want to fight Mayweather next? Really? Chad Dawson wants to fight Mayweather next. Vic Darchinyan wants to fight Mayweather next. My sister wants to fight Mayweather next.

    Paul isn't ducking the rematch.

They offered Martinez a rematch directly after the first fight. It was Martinez who (rightfully) said he would rather fight Pavlik. So he did it. No hard feelings, and no one feels ducked in any way.

I swear. How some folks can take the words of a promoter on a boxing website and consider it gospel....

The man was put on his ass by martinez who is not a big puncher at all

so i think it's a safe bet that when he gets in there against a big hitter it'll happen again

Like I said at the Scene, how in the hell can you duck a fighter or pass on a fight that was never offered?

i dont mind waiting, i like both fighters and id like to see them fight and be succesful elsewhere and then come back for the rematch later, they take too much out of eachother imo and id rather see some more good fights from them then have them ruin eachother quickly.

    Martinez vs Cintron 2
    Martinez vs Margarito
    Martinez vs Angulo
    Martinez vs Dz

    Williams vs Cintron 2
    Williams vs Margarito
    Williams vs Angulo
    Williams vs Dz

are all suitable fights.... its not like they have nobody to fight.

Williams is what's good today in boxing... I admit I was hurt when they denied the Marg rematch, and I would love the Martinez rematch as well.

But really the guy is willing to face anyone in 3 weight classes and always puts on a show. He ain't ducking ****, maybe his team are looking for big money but it's business. Look at this guys last 5 or 6 opponents and tell me he ducks...

Williams won't get a fight with Mayweather or Pac. Sad but true. Neither Pac nor Mayweather would want to fight him. If Pac vs. Money doesn't happen, Pac will fight Margarito :-( and Mayweather will problaby fight the winner of Cotto/Foreman. Which if its Cotto, Mayweather will be banking it $$$ with Cotto.

Martinez has already beaten Williams. Williams won't even rematch Cintron. Williams is a cheat.

Yeah, no way a guy with Williams' chin will be able to take punches from someone like Margarito

Paul IS ducking, even his grandmother knows it... ask her yourself, just don't tell her about the photos u post with him over here, or that u constantly stalk him!! :smooch
Margarito is not a big puncher, and even if he were, he started way too late in his fight against PW... big mistake & he promised he would correct it... and he did. In a rematch, I would go with Margo by KO, at least back then!!!
BTW, talking about ducking, I never heard Williams even mention Quintana's name 4 a rubbermatch after his 1 rd ko win over him... I know a 1 rd ko may look impressive but is not like Williams had a busy schedule, then again is all about not EVEN mentioning him.... I guess he didn't want another expensive boxing clinic ! Ohhh, don't even bother to compare that CQ to the one Berto fought, plz!! Thank you..

I think the main reason there was no 3rd match between Williams and Quintana is because Williams removed any doubt people had about that first fight. He said earlier that it was just an off night for him and justified those words by beating the hell out of Quintana. Besides, Jones and Griffith never had a 3rd fight neither did Louis and Schmelling
