I wish Paul well,he was a great fighter and to hear his story makes me respect those who get into the ring and fight for the entertainment of others all the more.
Same here. The first fight i saw him live was the one that led to the tradgedy. Botil ? Sorry, forgot the boys name but fark me Ingle was a great fighter, i should watch more of his fights, i remember the Hamed one too. Warrior AND a great style, well i seemed drawn to it. Be nice to see Bunce get him on. All the best Paul Ingle :happy
good luck to paul its been an awful shame whats happeend to him but its clear hes a warrior in and out of the ring and i wish him all the best like hairy highlander said it would be great to get him on the bunce show i feel a thread coming on its important we dont neglect guys like ingle one of the saddest things i ever saw was how Mcllenan was treated by boxing and his team after the benn fight more should be done withing the sport although i have to say us in the uk seem more willing than those in the states to help fallen fighters
I'm sure they held a show in his home town a year or two ago, with the likes of Benn, Collins, and McMillan making appearances. He put on some classic performances like stopping Junior Jones in Madison Square Garden, beating up on Manuel Medina, Billy Hary and Colin McMillan. All the best to the lad, a true warrior!?
Ingle was class, had the heart of a lion. Sooo wanted him to ko Hamed but he was just not quite good enough. However I also heard that he used to go in some of the pubs in Leeds and was a bit of a knobhead by all accounts.
