Paul Ingle

I read this very much forgotten man in British boxing. I remember seeing the ringside special where he featured and his enthusiasm and love for the game was beaming through as he moved around a little bit with Nelson.

Hey paul, if your reading on here, have you still got that bow top wagon, good little wagon. ? your a great fighter paul you,ve took fighting past boxing and your still in a fight now, keep slipping and throwing, your a great man.

 

It was sad to see him on that Ringside Special!

He was not ready to go, and you can see that! His life will never be complete, because he never finished up his business inside the ring.

 

I realise this thread is nearly 3 years old and some of you might not even use this forum anymore but if anyone is interested id like to update you all on Paul Ingle's progress.
Firstly he has shown his usual determination and has lost nearly 6 stone. Obviously, he still has a long way to go but he's getting there. A close friend of Pauls , Sonny Pollard and myself have recently set up The Paul Ingle Boxing Academy in Hull, in recognition of his achievements. In time, Paul hopes to do a bit of coaching and pass on his experience to the up and coming fighters at the Academy but for now the main focus is getting Paul back to good health.

No one likes to see a fallen champion, Paul Ingle always had that determination as a fighter, and its good to hear he is going from strength to strength and getting himself back to health.

 

Good little fighter Paul, always remember screaming at the tele when he stopped Junior Jones, good win that considering Jones had beat Barrera in twice in the past and was looking to get back into the big time after his defeats to Morales and Mckinney.

Give Naz something to think about too. I wish him all the best.

 

Great news that he's lost some weight which is bound to make him feel positive.

Back in the day, I was on a ferry from the north island to the south island of new zealand and the Jones fight was showing live on whatever tv was on! Randomly I was sitting beside a few yanks and ended up winning a bet on Ingle that led to me driving my campervan off the ferry way over the limit!
