Paul Malignaggi Officially Announces Retirement

Never was a fan of Malignaggi in the ring but I had a lot of respect for his willingness to face the best and I like him a lot as a commentator.

Had a good career especially when you consider he had such little power.

 

For a guy who couldnt punch to rack up his kinda CV his unreal. Knowing every fight that you can hurt a guy that must takes serious guts. He's got some decent wins on his list as well.

Love listening to him talk about boxing. Might go back and watch him beating Zab. Anyone beating Zab is funny but i like Paulie

 

Probably the Diaz fights.
Stopping Senchenko at 147 must go down as a good win. Even if people maybe he thought he would anyway for a non puncher to get a stoppage is good going. Gave his career a bit of length as well made some decent fights have that strap.
Beating Zab who though past his isn't totally shot wasn't bad either.

 

Classic over-achiever but always good for an entertaining fight. I like Paulie and hope he really does give up boxing and has a successful career in whatever he chooses going forward.

 

Always had a lot of respect for Paulie since the Cotto fight. One of the better commentators too. He'll still have a good career in the boxing industry.
