Don't think anyone has agreed with a 119-107 type card TBH.

You need to get your eyes checked as you obviously didn't see Mccloskey drip mounts of blood from his nose and get busted up again and again, where his legs wobbled after getting hit hard and resorted to false bravado.

He was hurt and busted up throughout the fight needing to hang on. None of Mccloskey's weak punches done much damage to Prescott, he just ran out of steam towards the end but he done enough in the first 6 rounds and the should have won the last round as almost knocked MC out again.

It was a british love in decision that won MC the fight and obviously he did show great heart to bring it closer but no way did he deserve the decision over prescott. You're only kidding yourself if you think otherwise.

Close fight, I thought that Prescott won. A bit of a disappointing performance from McCloskey, Prescott“s power seemed to surprise him at the beginning.

A robbery? Hell no, either one could have won by a small margin.

You do realise that you score round by round? Bleeding means nothing for a start. Any punch can open a cut. Clean effective punching is what wins rounds. Also being wobbled in one round only counts for that round and that round only. Like if a boxer is out on his feet in one round but loses every other round, he doesn't win the fight, you score on a round by round basis. The fact McCloskey never hurt Prescott and Prescott hurt McCloskey is irrelevant except for the round in which it occured. A fighter shouldn't be punished because he isn't a big puncher, the punches he landed were clean powerful shots, just not powerful enough to hurt Prescott. They weren't pitter patter punches, which don't win you rounds.

Of course I know it;s round by round, I've been watching boxing since you were in pampers alright

Obviously MC looking worst doesn't mean he loses the fight. What I've saying is throughout the fight, prescott done a lot more damage and troubled more and not just in one round.

He easily one the first 6 rounds on punches landed and damage done. MC looked like he didn't even know where he was.

I didn't care who won but when MC fought back i was cheering him because I like when fighters show heart, but I don't think it was enough as through his comeback where he won 3 rounds consecutively however there was one round I think the 9th where Prescott bounced back and started ultilising his jab and right hook again with his hands up after he lowered them for the previous then started to trouble MC again.

A draw would have been fair at worst, but really it should have gone to presscot as he easily edged more rounds, made much more impact. MC punches either hit prescotts gloves, forearm or just grazed his head. No accuracy, at times it was like watching a truck driver fight after coming out from a bar. No poise from MC, just what looked like a drunken brawler while throughout prescott look composed and compact.

I actually think MC will get exposed by kahn if he steps up. Prescott would have gave kahn more trouble so it's a shame he got short changed out of a hometown decision.

Prescott clearly won, Paul did not win more than 5 rounds in this fight. The crowd was screaming for anything Paul did and even when he tried to put the pressure on Prescott, he was missing and getting jab and counter through most of the fight.

First time I can say I'm truly disappointed with your score, IB. Really, you must have had a bad stream that skipped everytime Prescott did something, which must mean you had a all time bad stream...

Were some rounds close. Absolutely. Was there a clear winner in most of them? Yes. 116-111 Prescott.

    I wouldn't agree with that.

I scored every round but one to Khan when they met, but they were close, and I thought the stoppage was seriously premature, and McCloskey was getting better as the fight went on.

    Same yesterday.

If we'd stopped the bout after 7, Prescott would have been the very clear winner.

I'm a Khan fan, but I would like to see him face McCloskey again

you must have missed round eleven mate., Presscott was gassed after six offered nothing but weak arm punches after that.

to be honest rematch would be ok because it seems both guys are on similar level .think khan would have easy night with either of these guys. unless he goes into ****** mode again does a Calzaghe and runs to the centre of the ring winging punches like the first fight with breidis

Weak arm punches? Prescott clearly rocked Paul w/ 20 secs left to go in the fight.

    Round 1 Prescott (10-8 ) clear round
Round 2 Prescott (10-9) clear round
Round 3 Prescott (10-9) clear round
Round 4 McCloskey (9-10) clear round
Round 5 McCloskey (9-10) swing round
Round 6 Prescott (10-9) clear round
Round 7 Prescott (10-9) clear round
Round 8 McCloskey (9-10) clear round
Round 9 McCloskey (9-10) clear round
Round 10 McCloskey (9-10) clear round
Round 11 McCloskey (9-10) clear round
Round 12 McCloskey (9-10) swing round

    Prescott 113 - McCloskey 114

There were only two rounds that could go either way (rounds 5 and 12), and if you gave them both to McCloskey simply because he was clearly the agressor in these rounds, you arrive at the same score as two of the judges. The rest of the rounds were clear on who the winner was.
