Another round for Prescott. If Prescott doesn't win this fight this will be a robbery.

69-63 Prescott, too many punches on McCloskey's face.

Prescott really is beating McCloskey now, he is laying the hammer down on him with repeated rights and the jab is still keeping Paul at bay, every time he tries to rush in.

    Round 1 10 - 8 Prescott
    Round 2 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 3 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 4 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 5 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 6 10 - 9 Prescott
    Round 7 10 - 9 Prescott

I detect a persistent pro-underdog bias on these RBR threads.

This fight is close and Mccloskey is stealing some rounds on sheer slickness.

Im impressed with Presscot. He came into this fight knowing what was at stake. If he wins he knows that the Khan rematch is practically a gurantee.

what's that even mean? Winning rounds based on sheer slickness. That's cute.

    Round 8

McCloskey puts up a high right jab, craning his head away while doing so and basically pushing blind with it (only able to see peripherally out of the very corner of his eye). Prescott is landing jabs while smoothly turning to keep up with McCloskey's helter-skelter circling. McCloskey is landing stiff right jabs of his own as he gets a little more bounce in his step and is able to stay just ahead of Prescott on the turn. Right hooks from McCloskey now. The head movement is back. Right jab, left uppercut by McCloskey. Prescott ducks and scurries out of a corner. McCloskey backs him down with right jabs from the hip. Prescott misses a wide combo.

    10-9 McCloskey

    77-74 Prescott

McCloskey is more accurate in that round, but I'm not too quick to say he outlanded Prescott. He lands a bodyshot and the crowd goes ape****, and a stiff Prescott counter-right is met with crickets.
