Good from McCloskey. Onwards and upwards from here. I'd look a step beyond Morrison if possible, winner of Branco/Witter. I think he's ready.
Brave from Harrison but he was totally outclassed, McCloskey's working on getting more power into his shot's, He's developing well.
Branco v Witter is off or so i have heard. Witter fighting Alexander WBC Eliminator on Froch card so someone said in the General Forum
well done mccloskey,,nice work,,harder hitter than i thought dangerously low hands tho,,,,,,,,only because he knew he would be able to tonight?
I would love this fight. I can't wait to talk **** with Olu. His boy is going to get beat down in an ugly fight.
Olu sent in a lesson of complaint to Boxing News this week . He was unhappy that in the preview of the Heywood fight the writer said Ajose did not deserve his WBC ranking. Olu's letter said that the win over Heywood proved he deserved to be ranked that high .
Olu ranks his wins over Nuumbembe and other Africans too high. The way I see it his only top draw win is over a disinterested looking Bradley Pryce. He has even been going backwards lately with these farcical fights. The more Olusegun comes forward throwing those wide power shots the more McCloskey picks him apart with uppercuts. Thats how I see it. Olusegun's own unorthodoxy will be his downfall instead of his advantage in this fight. I doubt it will gel well.
Not sure who'd win between Ajose and McCloskey yet but I agree that it won't be a pretty fight. There styles will clash rather than mesh IMO.
