    Round 9

Big left hand, right hook by Corley. McCloskey tries to show off his defense by leaning forward and rolling his head around Corley's rapid flash jabs, about a dozen of them. Almost none of them landed. McCloskey sticks a jab out into Corley's face from outside. 1-2 to the face by Corley, and a follow-up left hand. Right hook to the body by Corley. McCloskey dives in, grabs, forearm to the body. Right jabs by McCloskey, stepping in and out. Shoe shine downstairs by McCloskey. Overhand left by McCloskey. Right jabs by McCloskey. Corley isn't up to much. BIG right hook by Corley, missing. He loads up again and clips McCloskey just on the tip of that damaged nose. High jabs by McCloskey. Big swooping left uppercut from outside by McCloskey, missing as Corley leans straight back. Both men tiring a bit. Body shots by McCloskey.

    10-9 McCloskey

    86-85 Corley

Far too easy to hit. Kevin Mitchell and Ricky Burns would dominate McCloskey, and John Murray might stop him.

These guys are one another's yin and yang in terms of slick and awkward. Makes for a pretty interesting fight.

    Round 10

McCloskey is firing jabs and lefts to the body, ducking under Corley's hooks. Corley adjusts by leading with left uppers to the body. McCloskey takes big spider-legged steps around Corley and moves his head. Corley swings big and misses. A couple of slapping right hooks by Corley as McCloskey ducks in. Nothing serious. Left hand by McCloskey. Right jabs by McCloskey. Right hook by Corley backing up, just grazing. McCloskey is firing his jab whenever Corley hooks, landing and only just feeling the faintest tickle of the hook. Another right hook by Corley is flusher. McCloskey a little rocked!!

REF JUMPS IN AND WAVES IT OFF!! :?

    TKO!!

McCloskey was winning that round, even though Corley stunned him late.

Baffling choice by the ref. He wasn't helpless at all.
