    I don't think the ref was worried about the nose. He misjudged how hurt McCloskey was. Because of the doe legs.

    McCloskey is interviewed. He says he can't figure out what went wrong there.

    He gives Corley full credit, calling him a quality operator.

    He isn't making excuses. Says it was a good shot.

    Says he felt he could have gone on, but also says "every fighter thinks that, don't they?"

    He said he'll watch the tape, see what he did wrong, chat with his family, and see where to go from here. Next time he promises the fans something bigger and better.

    Corley is asked about the stoppage. He says obviously the ref was convinced, but he himself was wary thinking maybe McCloskey had wobbled to play possum and lure him in. He isn't sure McCloskey was too badly hurt even though it was a good shot.

    No bragging at all.
