Again, Mc standing in close, letting his hands go a bit. Lauri still southpaw :huh but standing very square on. Lauri down from a left hand and ref doesn't give it! Dunno why until a replay is shown. Mc getting caught a bit but not in anyway troubled. Lauri aiming to use a high, "tight" guard but Mc is constantly splitting it with his jab. Paul now throwing some mean looking uppercuts in the last 30 seconds, really ripping them in.

Paul putting them together well now, nice uppercuts. For someone who like to fight on the inside Lauri is easily deterred one good shot and he backs out right away.

Not the best round for McCloskey in the third

 

Paul is getting caught a bit too much in this round. would prefer to see McCloskey moving a bit more then the odd burst on the inside rather than the other way about.

Think Lauri took that on work rate

 

Round 3
Lauri still standing square-on but can't do ****. Mc gets a warning for a bit of a shove. Lauri for the style he's using has very little head movement. Mc is more than happy to stand and trade with Lauri. Some nice right hooks to the body from the Irishman but Lauri is landing a quite a bit with his attacks.

Much better round for Lauri, I though he won that. Mc let him have his way.
