Not a terribly bad fight but McCloskey will deal with him no problem.....Prime Lauri wasnt much of a fighter to behold in the first place so this version of Lauri will struggle to get past Round 6 with McCloskey.

He needs to get a move on after this, at age 30 he hasnt got much time.

Good luck to him, excellent fighter. Not that he'll need much luck in this one.

I've been disapointed with how his progress has panned out since stepping in to face Lynes. It seemed like he was on the fast track when he did that but things have slowed quite dramatically. As the above poster said, he's 30 and he relies a lot on reflexes and speed, he absolutely needs to move fast. He's at a stage where making Euro defences almost ain't good enough really.

I really like and rate Paul. Hopefully he puts o a great performance and gets another step closer to a world title fight.

Yeah he really needs to get a move on, he needs to be fighting every 3 months at least....
I still think he can make it to a relatively decent level. I mean i reckon he'd give Khan a decent fight.

I expect McCloskey to take this fairly comfortably. He didn't look all that great last time out so I'm sure he'll want to get an impressive victory to make some noise and bring him that bit closer to a world title shot. As people mentioned, he is pushing on in years now so he really needs to get going. 5 month lay off is far too long for someone at his stage of his career.

McCloskey is a quality fighter, he has a very awkward style and is tough to figure out.

McCloskey's a very good fighter, I'd love to see him batter Olusegun.

I have a lot of time for Paul McCloskey. Decent lad and good fighter. Think he will beat Khan but lose to Ajose Olusegun. Sincerely wish him the very best in the EU title defence. Wish there were more like him.

He will not batter Olusegun as nobody can but he is very good I must admit.

Thanks for the encouragement but he won, dominated Lynes and stopped him. Nice to know that even when he is **** as you say he gets the job done. He won every round. Obviously Ajose Olusegun is judged by a high standard than others.
