    Back then., there were talks of making this fight @160. Pavlik was a beast @160, the best for a while. P-Will was unique in that he was VERY GOOD @ 147-160.... Kelly would have the size advantage,but I would argue.PWill was the more skilled of the two, faster also. Would have been a war, but I.believe Kelly wins by KO.

    I'd have to go with Paul Williams. Stronger focus, bigger heart, longer reach (which of course isn't too used by a fight like P-Will but still has an effect), higher activity and the commitment to go like a stalker after it's prey. I always thought Kelly was overrated with all due respect. Plus the problems and distractions he had to deal with outside of the ring are big factors. So I'd have to go with P-Will without hesitation.

    Paul wasn't good enough to beat top MW's. He made his chin far too available. His approach was fine when facing guys that only weighed 147lbs, however, against more respectable punchers it proved to be useless. Paul would have suffered a ko loss against Pavlik I'd be very surprised if he could weather the storm for 6 rounds.

    Williams was open for the right hand and his punch resistance was just ordinary at MW. Pavlik had a huge right hand. Do the math.

    I think Williams was better technically than Pavlik and had he fought a smart fight would have won a decision.

    Why that? At least Pavlik had a nice 1-2 and seemed to judge distance well. Williams was a tall fighter that fought at close range often disregarding the jab one of the main reasons he got clipped that bad by Sergio.

    Williams style was all wrong for pavlik,he would have rearranged his face and stopped him late

    Pavlik was also open to str8 lefts it would have been an action packed fight with alot of blood

    they are both bad defensively the difference in my mind is that Pavlik can take Williams power but it doesn't work the other way around. The only way for Williams to win was to open cuts on Pavlik face very early IMAO
