    Hmmm...the 'I will presume you are ducking Groves until you respond to my question' bit reminded of me of when kids scream in the sweets section in Tesco cos their mum is ignoring them. Cringeworthy.

    Rob, you undo all the great posts about fighters statuses and title updates with the arrogance and the 'look at me' style of your posts. I think you need to get over yourself and chill out a bit chief :D

    Paul Smith is the one getting in the ring getting punched in the face all night, not you. He's not going around calling people out, calling himself the big I am. You've got no right to accuse him of ducking anyone when you don't know the score. I want to see him fight Groves or Degale as much as the next man. But I'm not going to call the man a coward if the fight doesn't get made

    just fed up with boxing at the moment. theres no logical reason why he shouldn't be lining up Groves other than not wanting to risk it and you can clearly see by the Smith failing to respond to that point he doesnt fancy it.

    you can all make fun of me but i know, and you know deep down i am right. if everyone else reacted the same as me we might be able to stop **** fights.

    where exactly did this happen. all i notice is you being an ass kissing cheer leader with your laptop comment.

    everyone wants to see the groves fight. everyone thinks the mcdermott fight is bull****. i tell paul smith this and everybody gives me ****. you lot need to grow some balls.

    you can come out with keyboard warrior but i have would say this if i was in front of them and have done that in the past.

    how can you not get pissed of with a boxer when he comes out with the "we have different promoters" line. everyone knows that means "i don't fancy that fight" its one of the biggest cliches in boxing

    trust me theres not attention seeking, if someone else was going to do it i would be much happier.

    please read my posts on there and notice i didnt go off on one straight away. my first comment in the thread was asking a simple question of why he wasnt fighting groves and taking a step back fighting mcdermott. the same question everyone is asking in there head and he just ignored it and took another opportunity to slag of Dilks who didn't say anything wrong in the whole thread.

    maybe i go over the top sometimes but its jsut because i care about boxing. i honestly used to think paul smith could go places but he is just **** and its not because he lacks skill its due to being poorly match. its another step back.

    you can think im being a twat but from reading his responses the only impression i got is that he wants no part of groves. he doesnt even wanna mention his name

    paul smith does give it a big i am though. hes talking about world title and then signs up to fight.............darren ****ing mcdermott. sounds like the fight isnt signed, and if paul smith does have balls he will see the negative reaction and tell warren to get him a better fight. i could name 10 realistic fights that could get made that our better.

    he won the british title outright so he has every right to respond. When you win and defend the british title, and someone like dilks starts shouting his mouth off about how he should have a shot, the guys at the top of the tree SHOULD put him in his place. Dilks has no right whatsoever claiming a shot at groves, anderson or smigga.

    Yes Rob, you may well be right that a Groves fight is a better option than McDermott. But the point is that just because he doesn't reply to your question, doesn't mean he is ducking him! And unless you know the details of any negotiations surrounding a proposed fight between the two, you shouldn't accuse him of ducking him. Sorry mate but he deserves a little more respect than that. You might be frustrated a Groves fight isn't happening yet and I'd like to see the fight too, but you can't call the man a coward!!

    He may not be the best fighter we have and I've been at his last two fights and they were dull - BUT he showed great heart in both and I think Paul Smith would be one of the last fighters to genuinely duck someone

    Is the McDermott fight official now?
