    watching it live i thought it was a gd stoppage at the right time

    watching it back i thought it looked soft as hell, it wasnt like he was making smiths head spin on his neck


    Rob have you read Rahkim Chakhkiev has been added to the vegas card your going to? - that dude looks fierce!

    It's a fair point. Ok not saying that not stopping the fight changes the outcome, but what we do know about smith is he can come on strong in the later rounds, so it going the distance could make things interesting.

    I watched it live, and it looked right, I've never watched it back though (too painful!). So I can't make a judgement to be fair

    it was never going to be intresting. in terms of keeping a lead degale will be as good as anyone in the world.

    Maybe he will rob. I just think smith would have known he was behind which would have forced him forward a bit more.
    Like I say it wouldn't have changed the outcome

    Smith can do something as a Middleweight. everything he says is correct.

    He should get himself in position to fight for the now vacant British title agaisnt Murray thats a fight he would be favourite in. then push towards bigger fights.

    I think it shows that unless you are a super extraordinary athlete, fighting out of your natural weight class can have a big impact. I think I've said a couple of times, smith has only stopped one out of 5 at super middle.
    IMO tells us all we need to know middle is the way forward

    Out of order bringing George into it! Paul is a class below Degale end off! There is no shame in that though because imo Degale is world class.
