Why is it out of order. As I'm sure you'd agree a trainer is an integral part of a boxers preparation. So if that was causing issues, George is fair game same as is a boxer if he doesn't perform. At the end of the day it's fair enough to address the issue publicly as he's left his trainer and questions will be asked. Why bull ****?

Smigga could have had Freddy Roach in his corner against DeGale, the fight would have panned out the exact same way.

Blasphemy!!! Freddie would have worked out a gameplan for Smith to KO DeGale early!!

Roach in the corner vs. any fighter = Roach via cunning gameplan.

the way to beat DeGale is to hurt him. Punch him really hard in the face. I no your thinking....isn't that point of boxing. Its difficult to explain. I think you need to make him fear your power early in the fight. Then he will get on his bike, be thinking about avoiding you, not think about dominating you with his attributes.

Arnie won't say this on here but he will have seen Bellew spar with DeGale. He will know what I mean.

I think you're all not getting me. I'm just saying in general he's saying he wasn't happy not just re the degale fight. I'm not saying atvthat point anyone comes up with a plan to beat degale.

yes and what we are saying is that smith is wrong to blame the defeat on poor prep.

    Maybe maybe not.
What I do know is it's a good move for him.
Clearly in peoples minds the job a trainer does is important based on how revered some are. So to say it's poor to Blame performance on prep means trainers are irrelevant no!?

DeGale was lucky he ran into a Paul Smith at 35%....he'd have been dominated and destroyed if Smith was anyone near his usual conditioning.
