I can't imagine this having any significant outcome on the fight. Ward is going to put everyone at 168 and 175 on alert that he has returned, and is better than ever. :smoke
It won't but almost 4 and a half points over? What the hell has he been doing in training camp? He can't even make lhw. Ffs. atsch
Didn't Mayweather come in a significant amount over the agreed upon limit compared to the far lighter Marquez, surely you must call that a lack of class too?
I hope Ward can get a few rounds in at least. Would be terrible for him if he scored an uncharacteristically early stoppage.
At the weigh-in JMM was a few pounds lighter but surely you don't actually think he was much lighter or at all in the ring? It wouldn't have made a difference, same as this fight.
Well, I think he will definitely hold back a little to get some rounds in. Smith ought to be able to take some punches being so heavy.
Unlike Mr. Walters coming in overweight, nothing of consequence will be lost. Mr. Smith will simply be a slightly chunkier lamb being led to slaughter whose meager purse will be proportionally lighter as a result.
Ward cherry picks a guy that's doesn't even train :-( It's a shame Ward didn't pick on James DeGale, George Groves, Callum Smith, Martin Murray or Rocky Fielding then he would've had his glass chin shattered
I don't think there's gonna be an early stoppage, Smith showed he's tough against Abraham. But I agree Martin Murray would be a lot better for a comeback fight.
Disgraceful of Andre to miss the 172 lb minimum. Good on Paul for going on with the fight like the true pro he is.
You guys are assholes. Imagine if it was Ward who came in at 176.4 . Man, there would have been 20-25 threads alone on that ****. :smoke
You're an idiot. :nut Yeah it's partly his fault Smith missed weight by 4.4 pounds and came in at a cruiserweight.
